Ride days for mountain-bike crews
Build the safeguards before the demand: consent, permits and a clear line around what you are selling.
Not every trip is to a hospital. A crew heading to a trail park for the day wants what a hospital rider wants: seats together, one price for the car, and a ride home at the end of it. The EV9 takes six riders and six bikes on a vertical rack, wheels on, nothing taken apart. I load that rack most weeks for my own kids’ crew.

What we built (23 August 2026)
- One fare per car, not per person. The organiser books and is the hirer.
- By enquiry only. A ride day can’t be confirmed until we have spoken to the organiser.
- A written quote by email, with 48 hours’ free cancellation.
- Riders under 18 need a signed consent from a parent before the car leaves.
- Transport only. We drive the crew there and back. We never guide, and never run shuttle laps up the hill.
- Parks that need a permit are never listed unless we hold the commercial activity permit for them.

Where it stands
Ride days are in a test phase. You can enquire on dycomdrive.com.au, but we are not yet selling them as a regular paid trip.
What I’d tell you
Put the safeguards in the booking itself, where they can’t be skipped. Ours won’t confirm a ride day until we’ve spoken to the organiser.
